Active Q is the most readily available form of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Until recently the only formulation of CoQ10 available was ubiquinone, the oxidized form of CoQ10. However, most of the CoQ10 in our bodies is in the form of ubiquinol, the "active" antioxidant form of CoQ10. Now that the problems of stability associated with the production of the ubiquinol form of CoQ10 have been solved, ubiquinol in soft gels is as available. This highly absorbable ubiquinol is now available in the new Bio-Sorb® ActiveQ® softgels from Tishcon Corporation.
